I contacted Mike DeVita who is the managing partner of this group to try to get involved in one of his partnerships. After several days I finally got a short response after which I sent another email and never heard from him again. Their website is not very professional either if you take a look at it. Maybe others have had more positive experiences but I would think if someone is interested in becoming a partner in your business then you would make sure you responded promptly and to provide the information requested. That wasn't the case with this racing stable so I would not recommend them.

I would strongly urge new partners to stay away from this stable. For the last ten months communications have been non existant. Equibase's Virtual Stable offers more information than the managing partner does. After a horse was claimed from us many partners requested the remaining money sent back, however it has not been sent even though they have been told several times the "check is in the mail". The managing partner comes up with a lot of excuses and doesn't follow through very often.

One partnership for a Penn National claimer was closed 14 months ago and still has not claimed. I've requested the money back however I receive no response.

On a scale of 0 to 5, with 5 being the best, Trans Alantic Racing is a 0.5 -- look elsewhere to race thoroughbreds.

I've been with TARS for about 3 years--it has steadily deteriorated, reaching a new low today with the website seemingly being pulled. Communication is horrible--if the website is put back up I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I value as a friend. I've lost any hope of seing any of my money.
